Support for removing local barriers — Yes

Derek HOWIE (Scottish National Party (SNP), derek@derekhowiesnp.scot, Facebook page): not yet responded.

Lesley MACINNES (Scottish National Party (SNP), lesley@lesleymacinnessnp.scot, @lmacinnessnp, Facebook page): responded. If Lesley MACINNES is one of your candidates, why not get in touch?
    Position on our asks:
Support for investment of 10% of transport budget — Yes — "It is vital that all road users can use a shared environment confidently and safely and that requires investment in education and infrastructure."
Support for high quality infrastructure — Partial — "In principle I support this but we must take into account local circumstances in deciding where resources should be best spent."
Support for removing local barriers — Partial — "As in Q2, each set of circumstances needs to be fully considered, rather than a blanket assurance given that I would fully support this, irrespective of circumstances. I am, however, sympathetic to the issues raised."

Stephanie SMITH (Scottish Conservative and Unionist, stephanie.smith@scottishconservatives.com, @sjhmurray, Facebook page, website): not yet responded.

    Some issues

The pavement along Old Dalkeith Road between Ferniehill and Danderhall should be shared use.
The traffic lights at the ODR/Ferniehill junction should be changed to make it easier to cross as a pedestrian.
Sheriffhall roundabout. Actually Transport Scotland, of course.
    Gilmerton-Shawfair. (Mostly in Midlothian)

    Seemed to enjoy himself too.

Lesley Macinnes came along to Inch House to speak to us and take some photos with Derek. Said a bad hip prevented her from doing anything more.

Lezley Cameron said she would come, but needed to get her bike back in working order. Apologised afterwards for not making it.

    Stephanie Smith didn't reply.
