Be aware that the lane between Ormiston and Cousland has recently been closed for 10 weeks (from 10 May) at the Ormiston end. It is possible to walk down by the side but it is a few 100 metres and won't be pleasant when wet. It's due to a new housing estate being built.

The good news is that the council has been patching and resurfacing in that area (and hopefully round by Airfield Farm

@amir, saw signs to that effect on Saturday when going to ceilidh in east saltoun village hall. Nice village hall, lovely evening sunshine. East Lothian at its best

Many years ago I was with an ERC group that ended up there for a coffee morning. The people there were a little surprised and put us up on a table on the stage. The CTC seemed a little put out by our presence when they arrived later.

Ah, amir, nice little stage. Mostly on Saturday on it was Gary from singing kettle fame.

We won a bottle of wine and a bottle of champagne in the raffle. I also won the shove the pound at the litre bottle of vodka. Which means I have a litre bottle of vodka. I am on a bit of a roll with shoving pound coins at bottles, the last scout thing I won bottle of highland park and litre of grouse but I redonated the grouse. I think I may retire from shoving pound coins at bottles.

Used to be my landlord 20 years ago. Decent fellow.

Tough job filling the dancefloor with kids as young as 6 and grannies as old as 80, he does this with a maximum of cheesiness but also very good on the accordion did not know about his landlordism. But he seems very genuine chap. (I meet him but once a year and he remembers me, could be our penchant for tartan trews)

I worked with Cilla, Artie and Gary on a summer playscheme many years ago. Those songs will never leave me.

The Limeylands Road is now super smooth. What a difference.
