I take a lot of photos while cycling but one kind of place I never photograph is urban streets because the view is spoiled by cars:

We tried to take pretty pictures of villages for you, but instead found parked cars EVERYWHERE

Shere is billed as one of Surrey's "most picturesque" villages, yet it seems there's no escaping the cars.

So that's so true. It's nice when you go abroad and find these towns with old centres with the cars shut out.

I work in the High Street and I am always dismayed by the fact that the old town's finest public space, Parliament Square, is used as a car park.

However, at least in Edinburgh generally, we are spared what Aberdeen does with fine Georgian spaces like Golden Square off Union Street.

That's awful. It's like turning Charlotte Square into a car park.
