It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

About once or twice a year I enjoy cycling in the rain and last night was one of these times. I decided it would be fun not to stop to put on my Gore Tex (other waterproofs are available) and ride home in the rain. It didn't last long and wasn't as warm as it has been in other summers, but it was SO refreshing, not worrying about getting as wet as I could cycling home.
Such a great feeling!
I like getting completely soaked on the bike and don't do waterproofs at all when cycling. To be fair it really doesn't rain all that much and I find that I get as wet with them on, even with breathable fabrics. It's probably also because I've got quite a short commute (only 5 miles each way) and somewhere to hang wet clothes in work.
As long as it is on the way home. Nothing worse than getting wet going to work, knowing that my kit won't dry in time for cycling home. Wet socks, yuck!
dk1, you need to lobby your employer to get a condenser tumble drier, we have 2.
Some of my best racing results have been in the rain. Would far rather ride with rain than a headwind as well.
