There must be a separate strain of psychobuzzards. The ones round here keep well away from folk.

A woman in North Carolina was likely killed by an owl doing this to her. She managed to stumble home, where she was found by her husband, who assumed she had fallen down the stairs. He was convicted of her murder, but was recently released after accepting a plea bargain rather than have a retrial.

There were police divers blocking most of the width of the canal towpath at Wester Hailes one afternoon last week. It looked like a training exercise rather than an operation.

Ha! yes, there are a couple of anti-cyclist buzzards round our way, but others are fine. I think it depends on where they have their nests as it tends to only happen in June/July. If I ever got a hat camera it would have been to try and capture ASBO buzzard in full swoop
