    **Appeal for Witnesses**

    I am looking for people who were on Easter road, between 9am and 9:15am on Monday 24th July who witnessed a bike crash.
    Yesterday I was knocked from my bike on my way to work and currently I am looking for people who saw what happened and are able to make a statement to the police. In particular a lady walking her dog who stopped to help and phoned an ambulance. Also another person who stepped into the street saying they saw what happened and that the driver was at fault not me. Anyone who saw what happened would be appreciated! I lack sufficient evidence for the driver to be charged with dangerous driving.
    Please share and ask people to contact the police if they saw what happened.
    I am fine, possible broken nose and a lot of bruises everywhere.
    Thanks

    Is this the same Easter Road that Keith Brown patronisingly told Kezia Dugdale was officially safe for cycling on?

    No, that was the Easter Road conjured up by misrepresenting a conversation KB had with a female civil servant.

    Hope you find some witnesses but it is unlikely they will be done for dangerous driving. Careless driving is the favoured charge if any at all ... I had clear video evidence 4 witnesses and it took 8 weeks before the driver was charged... case will not come to court for at least 8 months ... good luck and I hope the nose heals

    @chdot... Won't the emergency service telephone line have a note of the mobile number that called them? (I assume they record all info. I could be wrong though!)

    Even if they do though I suppose they might not be willing to share it with you, but they could perhaps phone the woman who called them, and give her your number?

    If you call 999 from a mobile the first thing the operator does is read out the caller's number for the benefit of the recording

    @Klaxon... Exactly!

    But the question is how does chdot access that number!

    I'm fairly sure that chdot was not the victim in this case, rather he is reporting the request here in case someone reading knows something.
