    I was out with the Balerno Dads Road Club and we were held up at the wee bridge in Imaginary Burntisland as the large Ferris Wheel had burnt down.

    However, cyclists were crossing the bridge in the 0ther direction so I thought I would chance it.

    I was then apprehended by the Burntislanders and they produced a video camera and tripod from a pannier I did not know i had (as would not fit on my road bike). On the tape there was a sequence of me ballroom dancing which the Burntislanders held up as evidence of my moral turpitude

    I have stress dreams sometimes where I'm just perpetually getting ready to go riding but never quite make it out the door, it's super frustrating. I'm basically just fixing stuff and untangling things from spokes, and replacing cables etc. Hate that dream. Far too close to reality.

    Salvadore Dali used to employ someone to sit beside his bed and record his dreams the moment he woke up.

    I often have surreal dreams, but alas cannot put them into paint...

    @gembo,

    That explains why you were asking Bax about accessing Limekilns after arriving at Ferrytoll. The fear of having to turn east has clearly set it.

  6. I have (several times) had a dream I've won the lotto and bought a house in the Alps with a huge garage that I kit out full of beautiful Bianchi's. I employ David Millar and Pippa York to coach me and a wee group of pals, ride with us, and them accompany us to VIP wining and dining at pro races.

    It's a barry dream so I really should play the lotto.

    @Gembo

    What type of cheese have you been eating?

    Paneer?

    I'll get my gcoat.

  8. Just as I'm dropping off to sleep, I frequently start dreaming that I'm cycling in tight circles until I suddenly fall off, and as I hit the deck I wake up with a violent body spasm/jerk which almost bounces me out of bed!
