'Artist's impression' shows tram parked outside...
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 16years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

aw gawd! Not another "iconic" glass box with random appliqué sandstone. Snore!
tram
it's cheaper than parking it in the secure storage in Broxburn where it currently is
Ah, but this appears to be glass box with a sandstone building inside it. Not entirely sure why.
Or have they left the scaffolding up?
I'm buying Samsung ;-) (They use a Wolfson chip now)
Or I may just keep my second hand Seimens phone as it's got nice tactile keypad...
You see - after 15 years of Mac I think I've bought enough for work.
The 2008 Macbook was good though and should do for a few years. iPad is easy to use but I don't need one.
"I don't need one. "
You don't get it do you?
You're right Min.
This is all about 'I want'. But unless an iPad can let me do a design job faster than something with big screen and keyboard it's of little interest.
I also like reading books in a paper format and am determined not to own a 'reader'.
Of course if anyone's finished with hi-tech devices (like GPS systems) then I'd be happy to take off their hands!
*looks at pics*
hurp----blarrrrrf
Oh god why Apple, why?
The council are seriously allowing that?

yeah, a photo of a Tram in the Harlequin livery, that's so early 2010!
"WORK was due to start today on an upmarket hotel and shopping development at the east end of Princes Street."
"The firm behind the Princes Street development, global giant Aberdeen Asset Management, has indicated it sees the new scheme linking in with the proposed new St James Quarter development around the corner.
And the company made it clear it was looking for upmarket retailers for the block.
It would not confirm that Apple was taking one of the shops, but it is understood the worldwide technology company has signed a deal for the new unit where Burger King used to be."
It would be quite nice to have something there other than a row of empty shop fronts. Makes the place look pretty skanky.
Fail to see what this has to do with cycling.
So it has a tram on the picture. Yes we know trams will be on Princes Street but I will be cycling past them...
"Fail to see what this has to do with cycling."
You're going to tell me this is a cycling forum next.
It's in "General Edinburgh" and therefore fair game.
I was in the one at Braehead last week and it's just a normal shop unit. It's only one level so there isn't even a glass staircase.
"Apple's new Barcelona store features unique logo"

Wonder if they're planning similar for Princes Street?
red and white one composed from tramworks bollards?
Or a nice tartan? With a shadow dance iPod advert backed by pop muzac played on bag pipes?
