Thinking I might ride over FRB this weekend.
What's the current rule? East path or West path?
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Was east when I crossed on Sunday.
Anyone out that way Sunday should be aware it is Pedal on Scotland
Thanks, guys.
Is pedal for Scotland getting to Cramond Brig this year? Or is it Ingleston again?
Still the East side - but beware through the road works on the fife side - they were moving everything around this morning - confused and very narrow in places. No doubt it will change again shortly - keep your wits about you!
@gibbo, it's Ingliston this year.
PfS will be going from Linlithgow to Kirkliston along the B9080 as usual, then south on the B800, and turning off onto Lochend Road to take the southern boundary road of the airport through to Ingliston, picking up the southern end of Hallyards Road where the finish line will be.

Jeez, what a mess.
Went through northwards early this morning without issue, apart from losing route 76 at the park and ride. Cones towards the bottom of the A90 section were a bit close together at one point and not easy to see the blue chord that ties them together.
I moved some of the cones last night. they were so far over on the narrow bit that the 4 foot wide speed limit sign was overhanging the path and almost clipped my helmet.
I suspected they might go back when the workies clocked on today but hopefully it improved things for a while.
Noticed on Sunday, both sides open.
Don’t cross very often so it could have been like that for ages (quite a lot of ppl on both sides so it was obvious - was there a few weeks ago and didn’t notice anyone on west side).
Did see autonomous bus in both directions. Didn’t seem to have any passengers.
Believe both sides are often open on weekends. However, as of last Thursday, only the East side was open midweek.
I mostly find myself on the bridge next to the hotel squinting, or using phone camera to see if I can see people or barriers, as guaranteed if just arrive at a side it will be closed.
