CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Ooh, I like a blueprint. Wonder how they came up with the venue?
I'm in. Just need to work out how to get there.
Is on quite busy main road though the back way from Belford road and the art galleries is nicer. This is perhaps not the biggest concern if travelling from Musselburgh?
Detours still on the WoL Path?
I was thinking of getting a bus but you are right it's fairly straight forward by bike. Hmmm. Is the water of Leith party still blocked off near the modern art gallery? It was the last time I was there back in the early summer.
@cyclingmollie, yes that is what I am saying, WoL path detours
Would be dark for cycling home
Buses abound
WoL detour is indeed still in place, and no word of when it might reopen.
(The Dean Path stretch of the WoL heading towards Stockbridge is fun in the dark. On the way home from Beer Night, anyway...)
On holiday, drat!
