I vote PY.

CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.
THRU in Glasgow early doors so have no legitimate vote.
This Friday? Probably fine for me.
Statutory reminder -

How to get there - http://tinyurl.com/PY-Fri
"Normally from 7.30 to 8.30 (Morning) for most folk."
Some people hang on past nine.
i hope they've fixed their coffee machine.
Tomorrow
Looks like it will be lonely.
Hmmm.
I could make it. If I remember. And if I don't decide to go swimming. I've only swum once so far this week, so I think I am likely to do that. Nice though PY is.
I'll be there. (plans changed).
I should be able to make it after school drop off.
I hope to be there too, so expect rain.
I have to go to the post office to pick up a package so will come along after that.
See you then!
Well, I am here. Feeling a bit lonely just now. ;-)
Friday morning bikeability time again, so no PY for me. Hoping the Little Green Van is out on the prom so I at least get a coffee later.
Despite having the morning off I've been co-opted into the school run. Walk fight.
Well it was nice to meet Ian and ?Gareth, and to see HankChief and SRD and miniSRD (briefly). MiniSRD told me that she enjoyed Pedal for Scotland and would like to cycle from Lands End to John o'Groats.
Meh. Completely forgot, since the title of the post doesn't mention the date
a few of us were worried about the crime scene at Tarvit st junction with Leven St.. the 'good' news is that it wasn't a cyclist or a pedestrian...
ATTEMPTED MURDER, TARVIT STREET
We are appealing for witnesses following an attempted murder in the city centre.
The incident happened around 9.45 p.m. on Thursday 28th September on Tarvit Street.
A 41-year-old man standing in an alcove of the Kings Theatre when three men approached from Drumdryan Street.
Two of these males then began to attack the victim with bladed weapons before all three made off back down Drumdryan Street.
As a result of this assault, the victim sustained a number of lacerations and puncture wounds to his body and was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh where he continues to be treated.
His condition is not believed to be life threatening.
One man is currently detained in connection with this incident and officers are following a positive line of inquiry to identify the other attacker. However, anyone with information that can assist police with their investigation is asked to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Mark Lumsden from the Violence Reduction Unit said: "This has been a very violent assault, which left the victim with several painful injuries requiring medical attention.
"We are currently pursuing a number of lines of investigation to identify those responsible but are really keen to hear from anyone who was in or around Tarvit Street on Thursday evening and witnessed what happened.
"In addition, anyone with any further information relevant to our ongoing inquiries is also urged to contact police immediately."
Those with information can contact the Violence Reduction Unit via 101 and quote incident 3975 of the 28th September. Alternatively, an anonymous report can be made to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Ah, thank you for that, SRD.
Several years on CCE and I've at last made it to a PY gathering. Lovely to put names/pseudonyms to faces. Hopefully I'll make it to another in a shorter timeframe.
I thought Hankchief had been tinkering with his tandem again before I noticed it parked in the background.
I assume that's SRD's one in the foreground. Is your front chain running on two different size gears? I'm intrigued by the offset between front and back pedals in that picture.
oh dear. our tandem just hasn't had much love lately. we tend to use it mainly in the winter, when it's too dark for the kids to be on the roads on their own. it was dragged into service today because micro-srd's bike needed to be dropped off at cycleservice for a pre-race checkup. they swung by PY post drop off.
