"The development, located between Ferry Road and Bonnington Road, will include a landscaped green corridor featuring a new cycle path and pedestrian walkway to connect to the existing National Cycle Route."

Sounds good. Devil in the detail, etc.

    Visuals here: http://www.urbanrealm.com/news/7026/Barratt_secure_approval_for_115_Leith_homes.html

I can't quite detect any "landscaped green corridor featuring a new cycle path and pedestrian walkway" but maybe it's just my poor eyesight.

Correction, it is clearer in the second image at the foot of the page. I imagine this is what it may look like after the trees have been growing for 25 years...

Standard shared use path. Landcaping involves a bit of turf, hedging and trees dotted at regular intervals apparently.

I *think* the location is here. Corner of West Bowling Green Street and South Fort Street.

On a vaguely related note, the wee cut-through from the NEPN to the development opposite Morrison on Ferry Road was finally opened a week or two ago.
