We had to put POP on a more formal footing this year, so we are now obliged to hold an AGM. Apologies for the very short notice, but if anyone is interested & can make it we will be meeting downstairs at the iCafe on Sauchiehall St at 4pm on Sunday

For those who can't make it, we will try and have another open meeting later in Edinburgh as well. Or if you have thoughts, suggestions, ideas or wish to volunteer your time, you can add them here.

    “thoughts, suggestions, ideas”

Not close enough to PoP to know if all key people are completely fatigued and if PoP is still toiling to gain useful helpers.

My sacrilegious suggestion would be ‘no Edinburgh PoP in 2018’.

Repeat Glasgow and try to make sure something happens in all (apart from Ed) Scottish cities.

Any towns up for a solidarity ride?

We felt rather thin on the ground in Edinburgh this year (although that didn't appear to affect turnout on the day). There is a good and enthusiastic crowd in Glasgow and some committed PoPpers in Inverness

Update on this - assembled folk from POP and We Walk, We Cycle, We Vote will be gathering outside the SNP conference at 3pm on the same day to mark the doubling of money for active travel & to give the minister some (highly symbolic) rocky road cake. He's agreed to come out so it should be a good photo opportunity to celebrate how far we've come, while acknowledging that we've still got a long way to go ...
