    Would improve the service if they prioritised bus stops.

    at least those people are wearing wellies. I don't know why people look surprised when they slide on the snow when they're wearing heels / trainers / smooth-soled brogues. It's inevitable and they might as well just throw themselves on the pavement when they step out the door and get it over and done with.

    An expression of surprise is to be expected from anyone sliding on the snow!

    I left my wellies at home, so I've been wearing trainers and am yet to fall over. If I'd thrown myself straight on the ground, I'd have been no less likely to fall later!

    You can buy snow chains for shoes which go over shoes or boots to improve traction.
