Johnny Cash's cover of "Hurt" was blasting out of Boardwalk Beach Club earlier this week when I cycled past. Not quite the beach club vibe they're looking for but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

@mga, yes another very strong example of how a Johnny Cash Rick Rubin cover transcends the original.
Also good to push on by the Boardwalk. Unlike the Apple Pie Carnwath that sees the money in cyclists, BBC is anti cycling, despite there being money in it.

Oh, they tell me of a home where my friends have gone. Oh, they tell me of that land far away.

Bonnie Prince Billie making a random appearance in my playlist today. Nice Silver Jews cover with Bill Callahan.
Video even includes some nice looking bikes...

Some fine young and rather large gents on bikes one was hired and not sounding clever came up the WoL path just there in the late afternoon sun having their own disco and Corona Beers. Very jolly, was boombastic tune on way up but on the Lymphoy on the way back down it was Man of Constant Sorrow. By the Soggy Bottom Boys. Which didn’t sound quite right as I think the batteries were going.
