Yes there is reverb/tremolo/voodoo on the Guitar and a syncopated genius in the harmonies and a beauty in the individual voices.

black arabs were a well respected britfunk ensemble
supported dexys midnite runners on tour
similar uk funk to heatwave, hi-tension, cymande
check them out
black arabs didn't record much but they did a lot of backing tracks for vic godard & subway sect at rehearsal rehearsals in camden town
