May Ganesha smile on CCE and all who peddle her. Edinburgh cyclists are very lucky to have this home.

Is it too late to make a cake?

I don't want to spoil the fact that there are currently eight posts but, at the same time, happy birthday CCE!
@kaputnik that sounds like an expensive but fun celebration.

@Jdanielp well 1 bun, 1 brownie, 1 juice and filter coffee for the boy and I took me over a tenner, so I couldn't stretch to 8 buns.

wee kaputnik was wired after he had that filter coffee. We all admired his fake wooleen, tartan buff

Happy 8th Birthday CCE and thanks to Chdot (Admin), Kaputnik & SRD (Moderators) and all the others with invisible titles (!)
If CCE didn't exist where else would we chat about stuff?! :-)

We would have to use city cycling Glasgow but looked a bit empty last time I looked at it.
I guess the invisible hand of the free market would provide some where but invisible hand only seems to write invisible posts in Glasgow forum.

Is that because people from Edinburgh are more friendly and conversant? (runs and hides)

Happy Birthday CCE!

This forum shares a birthday with Young Team by Mogwai (which is 20 today, if you want to feel old)

Any relation to YLT?
Posted 7 years ago # -
Surely related to all your Young Teams and Young Mental Posses.
The man who delivered our floor sander told me he was in the YMCA in the 70s - the Young Mental Caley Animals of Caledonian Crescent.

I hold this forum almost entirely responsible for the fact an occasional cyclist five years ago now finds that n=4 (including a Brompton and an Elephant Bike) and that every bike has a dynamo, that I've organised several PoP Feeder Rides, that I spend more time than I should running a BUG at work, and that I'm planning a 100 mile bike ride tomorrow despite the forecast wind.
For this I am very grateful. Thank you.

Chapeau, CCE !

How has the rest of the household coped?
Posted 7 years ago # -
@chdot - well another member of the household did Pedal for Scotland when she was 10, and came on the first PoP, and Mrs G's bike has a dynamo too. However it is widely acknowledged at Greenroofer Towers that I do enough talking about, tinkering with and playing on bikes to make up for the rest of the family.
