I'm sure many of us have felt this way while being overtaken. Pass doesn't look that close, but certainly not "the width of a car".

Yes, sometimes a lone protest can be as loud as a huge demo (if there's a photographer there to capture the moment). I remember a cyclist held up the fuel protest on Princes Street in 2000. He/she refused to move bringing the lorries, taxis etc to a halt. I've often wondered who that was and what happened after they got arrested. Anyone here?

If there is an upside, it seems she is a marketing consultant, and I'm sure her protest will have brought her plenty of publicity and she won't be out of work for long.
