When he spoke to the police, they said there was a spate of these around corstorphine and the Gyle with thieves travelling round with boltcutters - nice.
"Edinburgh News doing article on bike thefts by gang targeting Corstorphine - White Lady, Tesco, David Lloyd and at least 2 offices. They are requesting CCTV to run online and would be happy to hear from others. Hopefully that will help police catch them. Contact Kieran Murray on 0131 3117531 if you have info."
A couple of bikes were stolen from my place of work near Crewe Toll this week. It's a secure site with a continuously manned gatehouse so many people don't bother to lock them up when inside. I think I am going to start doing so every day again.
