I have a gilet that I wish to add some reflectives to. I was thinking to source some tape - not sure where from? Halfords?

Also best to fit by sewing? I suspect the gilet (at home) is for low temperature ironing only - it's man-made.

Any experience of similar would be received gratefully.

you can get super sticky 3M style reflective tape from ebay (in many colours!) for next to nothing - and it wont put holes into your clothing , and you can cut it to shape - although obviously wont really go in the wash after that.... but the tape is so cheap , just reapply from the roll.

Sewing would probably be more durable. One of the easiest ways to get hold of Scotchlite tape is to buy a cheap hi-viz vest from B&Q for about £4 and unpick it (or just wear it...). You then end up with lots of fluorescent yellow fabric to make flags and things.
