I am off soon to the Pink Monkey Birds gig.

Will wear pink cycling top perhaps Kid Congo Powers will dedicate a song to me.

    Any racks near there?

I see Recombodna formally of this parish is claiming he is going (under one of his other monikers)

Middle of road on Chamber Street good option if coming from south. Fewer pedestrians milling around them than on the ones on pavements.

Weren't the ones at the bottom of Chambers Street the first Sheffield (or Edinburgh?) racks in town? They were certainly the first I used.

Yes was former subway, there are racks just east of it at the Brewdog pub in the cowgate, a bit dark but four bikes used them over the night that I was aware of, mine and another racer when I locked up and min, a different racer and a Brompton that had fallen over in the wind when I returned. Four racks parallel to the road.

The support act The hook and pull gang were good. The main act were very tight, drunmer superb, three guitarists one who also seemed able to play bass through six string guitar? Maybe lot of backing tapes. Kid Congo and the pink monkey birds. The kid was in nick cave and the bad seeds and before that the cramps and before tht The Gun Club. For the encore they played the epic Jack On Fire by the gun club. Had I not had a weak chest I would have gone down the front as I lov that song except for the bit where the kid digs a hole by the willow tree. That is not correct. I then sang this song as. Cycled home into the hurricane.
