Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

(I met Dougie Vipond once. He was really nice & really sharp. So nice I felt guilty about not liking Deacon Blue...)
Not good for John Beattie - hope he is OK and the perps get discovered and punished.
We were at the next table to Dougie Vipond at the Revolution Series in Glasgow last Saturday night - he was out getting p1$$ed with his mates, so we didn't bother him.
I saw Dougie on a narrow boat on the canal filming for Landward a few months ago. I'd never realised that he was in Deacon Blue.
Got stoned in Dalkeith on NCN1. Great accuracy from the young tearaway - hit the back of my helmet from a good twenty metres.
Not very brave though. Ran away home.
Years ago in Belfast I was heading home (W to E) about to go through what used to be a roundabout on the Grosvener Road. Stopped behind a car to get onto the roundabout and some wee lads a few metres away (like, under 10) started throwing glass bottles from the PILE at their feet at me as well as at the cars. I was so taken aback they were ok to chuck them at people that I was just LOOKING, and one hit me in the face - bounced of my helmet, but pushed my glasses into the bridge of my nose so I was bleeding. As soon as I could move I headed through the roundabout and stopped at the handy PSNI station just on the other side. They refuse to even go and chase the kids off (they had a look on the CCTV at the roundabout and could see they were still there! "They're too young to prosecute." "Yes, I wasn't actually here to get them SENT DOWN guys!"). Police assumed I was there to start the process to make a "claim". Had to call friends to pick me up as I was too wobbly to ride home. Erch!

Not sure why you posted that link to KGB headquarters in Minsk circa 1983?
