Hey not been on here for ages .... I moved to the country.....maybe I should start countrycyclingforum....

In my capacity as professional tat remover and shifter of furniture I have happened upon a brand new folding bike trailer. Cargo variety. All it’s missing are the quick release scewers. I’ll take £20 for it. I can drop it in town sometime.

    Oooh, I might be interested!

ETA: Hmm. My commitment to decluttering isn't very strong...

AVAST YE BIKE LUBBERS! THREAD HIJACK!

Was speaking to urchaidh (?) on Saturday about trailers and the occasional need for them. Is there somewhere they can be rented by the hour/day? I would have easily/happily picked up my Christmas tree with the bike.

I know cargo bikes can be hired somewhere - at least according to the livery I saw on one at the weekend - but I've already got a bike. Just a trailer for the odd job would be really good.

Hmm. Cooperative trailer ownership? Though I would be happy to lend out the one above (though I suppose it depends how easy it is to attach without footling about for ages)?

Wonder if it's in the Tool Library's ballpark?

Wonder if it's in the Tool Library's ballpark?

They don't seem to have any listed in their inventory, but I imagine if someone donated one they'd take it.

They're clearly keen on bikes and bike trailers anyway:

Did the Waitrose trailer-borrow scheme ever materialise, where you could supposedly pick up your stuff in a BikeHod, take it home and return it empty within 24 hours?

I can't find a reference younger than about 4 years old, nor anything on the Waitrose website.

Can hire out the shop CF trailer. Has long or standard tow bar. Cost £10 or so - don't have a rate really. Cargo bike from EdFoc is more but faster. Can pm.
