Icicle of Damocles hangs over the Innocent Path

  1. This beaut, about 3 feet long, was hanging just half a yard past the gate at the top of the Tunnel (you can see the patch of ice directly underneath it from the drips of water). Killjoy that I am I broke it off...

    Well I was quite impressed that you managed to break it off but I suppose you are 12" closer to it!

    This behemoth was hanging under the cycleway at Goldenacre path and was bigger than me.

    It was more quality of arrangement than vastness but there was a nice arch of icicles hanging over Warriston Road beneath the cycleway last Friday. When I catch up on eighteen months of Flickr backlog I'll post a picture.
