"On the 29th December, when most people are still tucked up in bed we will set off on our bikes from Land's End, aiming to ride almost 1,000 miles to John O'Groats in just four days. We'll be cycling in rain and sleet and snow, through 11 hours of darkness per day, and over more than 10,000m of climbing.

And why? Well, it's a good excuse to get a few miles in and do some training for all the big things we have planned for 2018. More seriously, we'll be raising money to help people who have no choice but to be out in the rain and sleet and snow at this time of year.
