Took advantage of a sale from Italan company La Passione to buy new biblongs after somewhat painful cycle last Saturday using my commuting biblongs, they were not up to th longer distance.

Went with large size which according to their measurements would have been too big. I did not fall for this. Even so, they are very close fit indeed.

yes they do - and usually very thin torso's too - but they also have plenty of power in them as i can contest as i was left in thier dust on a recent hilly ride in Austria.

For italian made garments that are sold in the italian market and buying online its sometimes 2 sizes up (Santini is another)

any other eu manufacturer it can be 1 size up or similar sizing (ie Belgian / German and Spanish)

@rider73 some tslk that going sizes up just produces longer legs and arms but little widening. The quality is high at la passione in the biblongs. Even if currently slight girdle effect

Someone on here once reported that the different sizes of a particular brand of cycling costume referred only to variations in the length of the arms.

  9. My normal UK cycling top size: XL

Equivalent Castelli Perfetto Convertible size: XXXL

(and even that's a bit on the tight side).

All my decathlon running shirts are xxl I'm not that fat (honest)

My shorts are large. Don't know if that's differences in who they are measured against, shorts on an American, shirts on a Japanese woman.
