An upright trike's been stolen from the St leonard's area. This is a mobility aid for the rider. If you see one around, or someone who looks like an unlikely rider, please let me know or contact police directly.

Looks like this - quite distinctive

And if this seems familiar, then that's because it's the third time this unlucky rider has been victimised...

When I saw the thread title I thought "Surely not..."

I'll clear a space on Ben Alder and put the ravens on standby.

Thank you, IWRATS - I hope we'll be making use of your ravens very soon. Trying to resist breaking rule 2 quite a bit just now.

    Is that C's trike? :-(

I recently added two of my bikes to Bike Register, having had quite a bit of conversation with someone who works for them. It might be worth getting the trike added too if it isn't already on the database, in case this situation happens a fourth time.

Sorry - autocorrect turned 'unlucky' into 'unlikely'. now edited.

Gyah. That's horrible. Hope it turns up unharmed as it's so recognisable.

@Arellcat oh, I think I have one of mine on there - must check info is actually up to date...

@Iwrats I'll clear a space on Ben Alder - bleached bones piling up in the staking place?

Sorry to hear that. Rotten thing to happen. I've put a post up on Spokes Facebook.

Shame as it's happened before and current trike was a special. Innocent may be where it will turn up. Downhill in tunnel etc.

Soderberg's stolen big load trike turned up that way near Bingham. (Sadly it now sits with flat tyres as a static planter in Lister Sq).

I wondered about it ending up on the Innocent and kept my eyes peeled yesterday. Didn't see anything except a hospital wheelchair and a pushchair from the tunnel to Niddrie. :(

Good point on the Innocent - will keep an eye out if I'm going along.

The trees between Dumbiedykes and Holyrood Park are a possible dumping ground.
