How to get there - http://tinyurl.com/PY-Fri
"Normally from 7.30 to 8.30 (Morning) for most folk."
Some people hang on past nine.

At risk of rocking the PY boat, 30th is Good Friday holiday. Will we be quorate?
Posted 6 years ago # -
Hmm, good point. Would a Thursday PY be out of the question?

“30th is Good Friday holiday. Will we be quorate?”
Very probably.
How many people have that as a holiday?
Also, some people only manage PY on non-work days.

I am not able to go to work on a fixed public holiday.
So we can have PY this Friday
or up the back at Collettis
And any heathens not boil eggs and painting them in prep for Easter Sunday can go to PY. Indeed i can cycle in and back too

“Indeed i can cycle in and back too”
So that’s you going to normal PY on normal last Fri?
Posted 6 years ago # -
Friday is a normal working day for me; so if it's on, and I make it out of bed in time I will try and make it along...

Tomorrow.
I'm not at work, but Mr fimm says I can come so long as I don't get up at stupid o'clock. So is anyone else likely to be there and at what time?Posted 6 years ago # -
Normal working for me too, but won't be past until after 9.
Posted 6 years ago # -
if clement I fear I will be off to Innerleithen, well I do not fear that, I fear the last 20 miles back to balerno thorugh midlothian
Posted 6 years ago # -
I'd be happy to do a late PY post 9am if we have a few folk...
Posted 6 years ago # -
Yes, I assume that would get me a pass from Mr fimm. I could go shoe* shopping afterwards.
*shoes suitable for running in the mountains, you understand...
Posted 6 years ago # -
Hmm. I need new bike shoes. Maybe I'll swing by Ed Bikes after.
Is @LaidBack only open Saturdays? Keep meaning to go and talk dynamo lights for the Surly...
Posted 6 years ago # -
I'll be aiming for 0830ish
Posted 6 years ago # -
Mr fimm says yes!
I should be there 9am ish or a bit before.Posted 6 years ago # -
I'll aim for some time between 08:30 and 09:15.
Posted 6 years ago # -
I should be up and will aim for 8.45ish

I enjoyed that. Nice to catch up with @Greenroofer, slightly puzzle @SRD and discuss bulgy eye with @Iain McR.
Posted 6 years ago # -
I also enjoyed being there and not having to rush off and catch a train. I even had tea and a bun :-).
And it would appear I met IWRATS and didn't realise!!!

Abandoned plans to have a Gorebridge/Pathhead/Tranent u-shaped trundle post-PY. Went to The Bike Station and bought a bell instead. Now in office :(

I went to BikeTrax, looked at shiny things, seem to have ordered new mountain bike shoes to try on. Then I had a long chat with the ex-RUC man who now works in the bead shop* on Lochrin Place.
Now I have to tackle the flat chaos generated by a very busy week. And clean the shower. Very tempted to sneak off and walk round the Botanics instead. Definitely buying some mini eggs to see me through...

Was gembo not distributing bells this month?

" Went to The Bike Station and bought a bell instead."
Was gembo not distributing bells this month?yes but ..... I need one with the elastic-band type fixing, due to lack of handlebar real estate and shifter cables.
