    Hi folks,

Take care around Meggetgate (back of Slateford train station) - various pothole/rubble covers have moved at the entrance to the pathway and it's currently in a dangerous state for pedestrians and cyclists alike, if you enter the path from the bridge entrance near Asda (I suspect it's happened due to the volume of housebuilding site vehicles using the pathway along there lately).

Duly reported to the Council once I'd got a chance to call this morning, who noted my concern but couldn't guarantee they'd get anyone out to fix it today.

Pic of the latest blocking vehicle along there for the record ;) - https://ibb.co/cs36nx

thanks qwerty. i'd been meaning to report the mud that i thought made it virtually impassable last time i went through.

Yeah - if the rubble/pothole chasm doesn't get you first, the mud all over the metal grates will at the bend later. Failing that, you'll still need to dismount once you get around to the nice surfaced pathway-oops-i-mean-car-park bit anyway ;)

Either way, your options are falling off or getting off and walking at that bit at the moment :)

This is my usual commuting route, and it's been an interesting experience over the years. Yesterday's setup:
