“Edinburgh school threatens to fine parents for idling car engines”

There's no enforcement of parking outside the school gate, so heaven alone knows how they'll enforce this one.
Double parking, and parking on the yellow lines are rife, despite often the presence of a warden - who has to give "5 minutes" - just enough time to deliver your kids...
