Bike Curious Family event 16 June 2018

    Hello CCEers!

    It's that time of year (again)! We've scheduled the EdFoC Bike Curious Family workshop on Saturday 16 June, 10 until 12.30. We'll be in the Pleasance Courtyard this year. As ever I'd be delighted and very grateful if you can come along with family cycling equipment, plus the usual route planning advice and helpful ideas!

    There's also a possibility that we'll be running more of these events during the rest of the year as part of a wider family cycling/pre-school cycling project. If you'd like to get involved with that in any way please get in touch. You can get me on suzanne.forup@cyclinguk.org

    Hi Suzanne,
    Sorry your post hasn't received the attention it deserves. I don't yet know whether I'll be helping with the night ride which occurs the night before. If I am needed for that then although I might make it I'll be rather sleepy and not be able to transport my usual kit. Alternatively if there are enough other potential leaders for the night ride then I would be very happy to take a year off it and help out on the day.

    I do still have a growing collection of kids equipment and pending dates and a busy family schedule would happily help on other occasions through the year.

    I emailed Suzanne direct, but perhaps should have mentioned here that I could turn up with a Helios tandem, plus passenger for demo purposes.

    I might be able to get there but not until elevenish, with a CoPilot Taxi and sample occupant approaching the upper weight limit and/or a CoPilot Limo.

    I will try to come with Followme Tandem and WeeRide front mount seat.

    (Will it be ok to put a 'for sale' sign on items we no longer need at this event?)

    Hi Suzanne,

    Is there anything you would particularly like but don't yet have lined up for Saturday? I can bring most things other than a cargo bike along. However I can't manage everything.

    I'm in the process of selling our trailer but should still have it come the weekend.
