    1 councillor suggests another area not elected in should consider pedestrianisation and reported as news seems an odd story

    It is a bit. It's also odd (and good) to see a positive story about pedestrianisation in a local news paper. Removal of cars is often seen as a death knell for local business - people would never buy anything.
