My work is having an away day at the Botanics, and I suspect a good number of us will be cycling there.
Any idea how much parking there is on that side of the park? or should we park on the West and walk through?
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!

Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

There are 5-10 racks there, but I wouldn't like to guess how many free spaces there are likely to be.
There are some further up the street as well, opposite Warriston Drive. I'd guess these are more likely to have free spaces, and are shorter walk than from the west entrance.
Thanks Frenchy. hmmmm....
A related point - i'll be looking for an update on Monday re the works on the NEPN: can we get to craigleith from russell rd? and can we get past craigleith and around to the GoldenAcre path? or should we take quiet route 20 from Craigleith?
There are also racks against the main laboratory building if you dip into the entrance across from Warriston Drive (you might have to come out again to get access to the gardens themselves unless the away day allows you access via the labs).
When I tried to get to Monday's electric bikes launch by Sestran at VQ I thought a great plan would be to get off the 900 at Roseburn and ride all the way on NEPN ....:(
Blocked just after Ravelston Dykes bridge and I had to slog up that long ramp to then ride down to rejoin WoLP as neatest route recovery option...
