Whilst Google street-viewing downtown Khartoum earlier I came across this gem.

    - Double rear-shocks
    - DH forks
    - fat rear tyre
    - cup holder

Looks all set for an afternoon at Glentress.

    Ready for anything

not that anyone cares, but the same bike appears in more than one pic on google street view - i suspect this is what the Google Streetviewer-taker was using.

    adapt to your surroundings

Much better view of the cupholder in this one, plus his left crank appears to be a) cracked and b) physics-defyingly-offset.

    editing for spelling

Don't think I paid enough attention in Human Biology...

as you do... (OK, I admit to doing similar in parts of northern Canada - always a bit frustrating when it's just photosphere and you can't virtually poke about the streets though)

    Liking the chain wrapped round the front of the frame. Could be;

    1) Decorative
    2) A weapon
    3) The leash for the dude's pet hyena

Rainy Season in Khartoum? I thought Google only took pics in sunshine?

Great infrastructure priorities. Get the bike parking sorted first.

I'd be more worried about the frame in that picture than the crank.

only a few 100m to the West is this beauty

    'Presidential Villas'. Very good.

@unhurt is our resident wild swimmer? Views? Presumably the flying pylon is an artifact?

Can't recommend swimming there. Might accidentally slip between realities, and that's always uncomfortable.

I had coffee too late and I'm not sleepy so I have been streetviewing at random (photosphere really, no real streetview coverage in Kazakhstan yet) and not only does Karagandy have an EcoMuseum, within it I have spotted a twin recumbent trike bike thing!

Quite pleased. May be up late.

(Lots of interior photosphere stuff for some reason. Including this rather cool but also slightly creepy giant chess room at a school: https://goo.gl/maps/qi46c4mo6ey )
