    I have invited Cllr Key to join us at the Counter so I'll be there from 8.15 (He won't be until 9ish due to his school run duties)

    I also have a box of 'Gembo gels' to hand over if that helps swing his decision.

    Are "gembo gels" some kind of youth street drug, or an in-demand black market hair product?

    It is haary outside right now and based on this morning I can't imagine that it won't be chilly tomorrow morning so it is likely best to defer back to PY... I have a large number of inner tubes to bring so it would be helpful to have confirmation that they will indeed be collected from PY instead.

    Oh dear. What have I done? Let's hope it clears quickly in the morning! Layer up?

    Misty in Baleno but sun peeping through. I am going to the counter to give SRD the tubes. 8a.m. To 8.15 a.m. We may well then cycle to PY it is en route. I did have hankchief gels to give in return but after carrying them around (but never managing to handover eg at pop when we were fleetingly together) I ate them on Arran.

    Phew. Glad to hear that it has worked out. See some of you closer to half eight when it may even be starting to feel warm?! ;)

    @SRD thanks!

    The cake is a lie. Happy to bring some to the next CCE meet at a place that doesn't serve cake or similar snacks. On my way...

    It looks lovely out there. Sadly I had to bring stuff to work so wasn't even on the Brompton and definitely couldn't make a sneaky trip to The Counter en route.
    Happy Birthday jdanielp!

    Well that was a far more civilised way to spend a morning than lugging stuff round the living room. (wasn't popular when I eventually got home mind)

    Klaxon wasn't there. ;-)

    The disposable* cups didn't go unnoticed, but unhurt and I came prepared.

    * Yes, they're Vegware, and yes, they're made of sugar cane† derivative and industrially compostable¥, but no, the chances of them ending up in the incinerator and not your local AD plant are very high.
    † Native to south America.
    ¥ Not home compostable, but maybe for your brown bin.

    Disposable cups klaxon?

    In my defence I drink so little tea that the carbon/plastic tied up in a single reusable cup would take decades to recoup.

    @unhurt, it's a Pokito cup. I have a KeepCup as well but that takes up a lot of room in my bag.
