Given the success of having the Cllr Key along last month, anyone want to invite Cllr Arthur to this one?

Sadly I can't make it else I would.

I spoke to the young chap (maybe Yorshireman?) at the barge today just after I did the Cop Swap A Lock thing.

    He is prepared.

Councillor Arthur hoping to attend too.

The councillor has confirmed. Hopefully turn out will be strong like last month. Saw councillor keys the other day on a Brompton heading in to waverely

@gembo was it a similar OnGuard lock to the pic that Iain McR posted in the Spotted thread? Any information about which model it is if so?

@unhurt that is bad, the sun will be put the banter will be strong. I was at the pub last night too. I had an erdinger non alcoholic beer it was ok, then I added a strofhoffer to it so I was drinking a mixture of erdinger, two other wheat beers and pink grapefruit - was quite good. The grapefruit beer was too sweet but when mixed with the erdinger it was nice. They give you the big mugs out of the fridge. Brewhemia. I would be wary of being in there when busy as only one obvious way out. We were right through back.

Then we went to the shacks which was weirdly popular. Smells bad, is dirty, you are on a building site seats scabby or granite. Yet we were all jolly. You could cycle right into it and put your bike where you could see it. No Loo. We had to return to work to urinate.

You missed Councillor Arthur. He is very nice.

He thought he was going to be brow beaten (maybe from something I said about cyclist activists in my invite). So was pleasantly surprised that it was a social gathering and he enjoyed it asa fellow cyclist. Not on his Fairmilehead to Heriot Watt commute as such but of course a decent segregated path in that area would make it possible for Buckstone residents to cycle to their Boroughmuir School and indeed Councillor Arthur to meet us.
