chdot - that might work as a beermat
tbc - you have tonight, tomorrow and next day to get rid of germs [assuming it is the swine flu making you feel pants]
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

have we all to bring our books (instead of a carnation in the buttonhole, underneath the Station clock)? I'm reading the Lighthouse Stevenson's again at the moment
Bella Bathurst was doing a bike book I heard.
I'll have handful of bike lights...
Bailing out by 9.
Cream crackered afer spending the morning testing out my husbands new walking boots and the afternoon at the gym, sorry going to have to bail. :-( I am not an evening person!
That's a shame Min. Next time get your husband to test his own walking boots!
bah, and your choice if day was part of the key too
Erm. I've just realised what time and date it is.
Well i failed.
Spent all of Wed in bed from Tuesday 2100 hrs straight through til this morning.
I even passed out during the night on the way to the loo. Go me!
Once my kryptonite source has been eradicated then i am back on the brown stuff served in big adult sized glasses!
Once over the initial painful "are you from the internet?" and "no, not your real name, what's your profile name" moments, that was fun. And cheaper for 2 pints than a coffee and bun at PY!
Nice to meet you all again / for the first time. See you next time, whenever / wherever.
so that will be the Athletic Arms next month then?
yeah it made no sense with real names
good to see folks
@winpig - next time put it in a calendar that sends you an email ;)
@thebikechain - get well soon
#Happy New Year Everyone
D'oh, sorry Spyt. But if I had dragged myself along I would have been so miserable, everyone will have been glad when I left. :-P
Get well soon TBC, sounds very unpleasant.
Twas indeed good to meet up in the real world.
Apart from meeting everyone my other highlights were Laidback realising the time, the non-plussed Italian Tourists [sent to diggers by a guidebook?]. Also dug the husky and the border collie, was getting like crufts. Especially enjoyed Kaputnik's yellow mudguards.

I'll bring Max next time;-)
Was good turn out... bet you some other people were later than they said they'd be!
Yes indeed, was after 11pm before I made it home
a most enjoyable way to pass 3.5 hours between feeds :)
Nice to meet you all. Next time it would be fun if some of the 'lurkers' showed up too...

Did he sleep well afterwards...?
Did he sleep well afterwards...?

#dateformatheadache
That’s how the system spat it out I just cut and pasted.
I’m required to use that in filing at work. After two years my brain is slowly getting used to it.
Littlendian makes sense for filing as it sorts nicely.
Wouldn't putting the year first for filing/sorting be bigendian?
Only the Oracle date format 24-MAY-20 is acceptable. Try sorting that. Try doing anything with it.
@urchaidh, yes, now that I have slept I see how wrong I was.
IWRATS, for those with more experience than me seem to have found it good for overtime rates.
@acsimpson
People have indeed paid me good money to juggle that stuff.
Unix date stamp or ISO 8601 are acceptable anything else is just asking for overtime bills.
Stuff I'm working on uses a rounded date-timestamp as a foreign key.
Overtime a-go-go.
