At the junction with Carrington Road. Small car lurking nearby. Plenty of people helping (on phone to 999 I guess. I hope there would be medics from WGH in the area to help too.

Cyclist down - Crewe Road South

The 2016/17 consultation was suggesting giving Carrington Road a separate, segregated cycleway, removing the angled parking. I wonder if that's still on.

@gkgk - I think that's part of "QuietRoute 20 (Craigleith to Leith Walk)" which is "ON HOLD - No current delivery date".
Original anticipated delivery date was "2017/2018".

I travel that route going home and quiet route often stands for rat run.
The number of vehicles that encroach into the short cycle lane is extremely annoying. Also loads of folk jump the red light when turning right from Crewe Road North and I wonder if that was a factor on Friday.
