"sorry I didn't see you". Well that's OK then, because if you did see me and still decided to run me over this would be awkward.

Glad to hear you're feeling fine, but you should consider getting checked out by a GP anyway.

    Also report to police.

Cycle Law have asked me to take pics of all my injuries - the only scratch I can find is from a bramble at the weekend. Quite lucky.

Ooft, sorry to hear that, and glad you're alright.

What happened? Car pulled out from a road end across your path?

We were at opposite junctions, both looking to turn right onto Milton Rd East, me towards the sea, her to the A1.

I watched in slo-mo as she ploughed right into me.

True, you are a stout fellow, but get yourself checked? Sounds like a close call. Sorry bout the bike.

Wait until tomorrow to see if any swelling comes up overnight before you give yourself a clean bill of health. This stuff can often take some time to surface.

I crashed bike (my fault) and it was a week before a bruise exploded inside my hip joint and paralysed my leg for a few hours. Was unable to work for weeks.

Hope that I'm wrong and everything is totally fine! Rubbish about the bike.

    a) holy crap
    b) glad it was only vehicle damage
    c) go to the GP, if for nothing else than to pick up anything that might need insurance coverage. physio is expensive.

Yeah I would def gp. Stuff does pop up later, like @ARobComp says, and even a couple of decent physio sessions could cost you well over £100.

Ps good luck with the Cycle Law folks
