Talking about non powered children's scooters, fairly serious types that you could do some distance on. Is there somewhere? Thankyou.

Gary - assuming you already have the scooters, rather than looking for somewhere to buy them, then I would recommend Cramond promenade - its long, flat, very wide and car free.

Sorry, that was badly worded. This is a request for information for someone at work. He wants to buy some decent scooter, pneumatic tyres that sort, non powered but bigger kids scooters. He'd like to buy some and possibly look at them before buying. Thank you

Alternatively, if you do want to buy them, I would say go to Decathlon at Hermiston Gait. We dutifully bought micro scooters when the children were little, at £100 each, then found that the Decathlon ones were 1/4 the price and just as good. You can try them out in Decathlon too.

My son (9) goes a mile each way to school every day on one of these https://www.decathlon.co.uk/mid-7-scooter-black-blue-id_8401845.html at 10mph (I know the speed because I ride beside him on a bike with a Garmin!) Before that we had one of these: https://www.decathlon.co.uk/mid-1-scooter-blue-id_8353251.html

Can you actually buy pneumatic-tyred scooters any more? I reckon they've been overtaken (sorry) by the non-pneumatic ones. I'd still recommend Decathlon - they have adult ones too.
