I still have my 2008 Cervelo Soloist which is the bike (not *the* bike) Sastre won the tour on.
Still love that bike on the rare occasion it sees daylight, though it's not really safe now and suffers terrible speed wobbles above 30mph due to the carbon being worn away on the lower chainstays* (are they plural, what's the one on the non drive side called?).

As far as I know it is also a chainstay. It's parallel to the chain rather than going through it.
Although that's not a very helpful analogy as the seat stays shouldn't be parallel to the seat.
