It's bizarre that you are (almost) the only person ever affected.

Guess after the diggers event I will take another break until I get bored again
I sometimes notice that it says latest post by a certain person 2 minutes ago (or whatever) but when you go in the post isn't there. But sometimes that post then appears after someone else posts on the same thread.
Blame snow, trams, city council, private hire cars, firstbus and drivers. It's the usual suspects here when villiany is afoot! :)
I sometimes get "slow down, you're moving too fast" messages. Which I already knew ;)

I blame the trams myself. Actually, I blame TIE. All the tram did was sit quiet and lonely on Princes St.
Spytters, could you set yourself up with a forum-only Yahoo or Hotmail account? Easy to get, and the forum software should be happy with the supplied e-mail address.
@Arrellcat - what for? simply for a spare email account? I have already done that with mailinator but it's the site's spamming filter (posting too often at times) that seems to hate me
FOI: how many "real spams" does this filter catch? Can it be turned off?
