Should pedestians also have 'Number Plates'?

What about people about to commit a crime?

Will they also be recording the number plates of parents who drive their 4x4s dangerously outside the school, then banning them from parking outside?

I'm sure the enterprising youth of Carshalton will soon be riding around with comedy school number plate knock-offs - possibly grossly insulting to the Headmaster. I know that's the first thing I would have done.

Yeah, can you imagine the school banning parents from driving their kids from school? So how can the kids be banned from cycling to school?

Will they also ban school deliveries parking on the zigzag lines of school crossing?
Will they ban intersite staff from parking on Yellow keep clear hathings outside the school?

It sounds like they should be expecting large numbers of bikes to be chained to the railings outside.

A scheme proposed by someone unfamiliar with children, bicycles, schools or common sense.

Yeah numberplates to identify those who misbehave when using the roads, that's worked really well for the past 115 years (on cars)
