off topic, but if we can discuss snails then this is fair game.

Anyone go last night to see JW @ Usher Hall ?

I'm not a Jack White / White Stripes fan, but I thought it/he was remarkable - not quite a living legend but getting there. He said he would be back soon, I would highly recommend.

White Stripes my favourite ‘new band’ when they first arrived on the radio.

Have seen him play there before with The Dead Weather and at The Corn Exchange with The Raconteurs. Really wish I'd been able to see The White Stripes.

For reasons I can't explain, I've not paid much attention to his work in the last five years or so. I'll need to look into it.

I have an album maybe five years old, maybe more, thought it was not brilliant though there is a song sung by Loretta Lynn that is very good.

What happened to his sister and did they both turn into the Twins from the Marvel movies?

Sister, I meant wife. Sorry ex-wife. No relation, though he kept her name.

Wait a minute, maybe it is a Loretta Lynn album called van Lear rose with one song by Jack White. I must try to remember things better.

Missed this one, but saw him a few years ago with First Aid Kit, really enjoyed. We have a few of his albums, and I like that they're all a little different. He goes through phases and does really good collaborations. I don't like all of his stuff equally.
