It appears a few others have suffered punctures from the newly cut hawthorn hedge along the A90 path.

I've composed an email to Active travel, North West team and both Libdem councillors, requesting the council sweep the A90 or heavy piles of leaves and new hawthorn cuttings.

    Cheers, Dave C

Emailed to Kevin Lang and louise Young as well as Active travel and the North West team.

Both councillors have auto reponses saying Mr Lang is away and Miss Young is having trouble dealing with a backlog of emails.... 5-7 days to respond!! Hopeless....

Dave, how recent is 'newly'? I lost a load of time between Cramond Brig and Dalmeny on Saturday, fixing a flat tyre. I think whatever went into the tyre came out again; I only found the entrance hole in the tread and the mark on the inside of the tyre casing. Put in my spare tube and mended the one that flatted, just in case.

BArellcat, Well I don't recall anything Friday evening when I cycled home, but it was dark and I tend to stick to the left side as I cycle.

@le_soigneur, I may do though I usually don't tweet, and have uninstalled twitter from my tellingbone.

Hi. I have requested for this under reference number 733155 as soon as possible. Thanks, Lauren.

@edinhelp are always responsive, but often the request they create falls into a CEC black hole. Getting them to clear glass up off the NEPN is completely useless...

Also now the very big and bloody dead badger at the kerbside on the A90 path lower hill section up to Dalmeny top gate

Looked like he was the top badger on the estate, big as a dog, and won't be going home to the kids tonight

    Much sadness

The council had a team out just off the A90 at Barnbougle this morning blowing leaves and cutting ivy from the path. Hopefully they will make it all the way along today.
