Annual reminder that you don't need to buy your Christmas Tree from the dodgy blokes who block the pavement and cycle lanes.
One option (among many) supports local charity Bethany: http://www.caringchristmastrees.com/edinburgh/

IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

We've used them for the last 3 years, lovely trees and always seem good value to me.
Last year was a bit of a clusterfruitcake TBH. They weren't answering phone, email or their Twitter account. I discovered this *after* I'd ordered online. Assumed in the end that service had lapsed and I had inserted bank details into an empty service and was just going to hope that, at best, I had made a donation to a homelessness charity with no hope of a tree.
Was totally surprised when I went to Ocean Terminal and discovered they actually were providing trees.
Just realised that I've booked our tree for collection from Balerno farmers market the day after I'm in London for company christmas shindig with the family (baby will be being sat- not attending said shindig).
In case of Dougal's curse repeating don't support anyone would fancy picking up two trees and doing me a solid?
Obviously first choice is to change pick up day!
