IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Installed.
Hmmm. No pinch-zoom. Slightly unintuitive in that only one pin can be dropped, though routing from 'current location' would be okay, provided it's placed you in the right road. Doesn't seem to be the option to go back to the fastest/shortest/quietest route picker once you've selected one. Otherwise, mapping data seems OK though it weirdly ignored the NCN#1 cut-through beside West Register House and instead said I should go up to the end of Randolph Lane. Which I shall, as I didn't know it was there.
I had a quick play with this yesterday.
No pinch zoom gets a 'hmmm' from me too - you just kind of expect it. Can't remember if it was like this on the iPhone version.
The search feature is unfortunately pretty much useless. It is just incapable of finding places that you might want to actually find. And if it can't find somewhere it just sits there saying "Searching..." for all eternity.
The actual route planning seems pretty good as you'd expect. And there seems to be an option for "shortest" route as well as the usual fastest, balanced and quietest. But, as Wingpig says you can't switch between these without going back and starting again (this seems to be a failing of all smart phone route planning apps at the moment).
At the moment I'd recommend Bike Route over Bike Hub for Android, but it is good so see more developments in this area. Things can only get better.
Still looking forward to Cyclestreets making it onto Android...
