truly massive swan on the A90 path just down from where the trench used to be (15:00 today)

i took to the oncoming A90 lane to avoid, as swan takes up entire (substandard) path width

big mad swan gave me what appeared to be a cheeky wee grin as i passed alongside, on the other side of the green blinds

if you're heading to the kingdom late afternoon, i'd recommend going via dalmeny estate

unless someone is brave enough to confirm the gallus swan has finally departed the scene

he wasn't in a hurry though

The only thing more frightening than an unexpected swan is an expected swan.

renegade swan still lingering with intent

he's in the big field with the pheasants behind the wall on dalmeny hill

must be a flight problem, there's no water round there

See a lot of swans in fields in Orkney. But maybe this one is sneaking off to water then coming back to subtly menace you?

funny you should say that.. cos i was cycling along, thinking its been a bad day today but at least the swan is gone, then i looked over and there he was.. spooky

but if this is normal in orcadia then all is well
