Normally if I try to get my bike on the Stirling train at Edinburgh Park their is an almighty stooshie as is full of bikes already. So I cycled all the way in to Waverley , modest headwind, tix machines wonky, rubbish platform et cetera. Train is almost at polmont now and no bikes other than mine at Waverley, Haymarket or Edinburgh park.

Ticket collector suggested they must have known I was coming. Or maybe no students going to Stirling today?

The next bikes at the rap loch college numbered 4. Saw none at the station so yes maybe all hired

Usual thing happened just now on way back. I am on platform ten mins before trai. Only bike. Seconds before it arrived another cat rocked up with his bike trying to muscle in on my patch

Gembo just whispered a haiku under his breath and the late arrival was cast away like a feather on the wind.

Dude was unobservant and arrived at bike carriage late enough to wait on me. Which was good as he was only going to camelon. Would have thought he could have cycled.
