    Hi, we have been looking for a cargo bike which can take 2 kids and reliably fit on a train, the tern gsd seems to be our only realistic option so far (though even getting it on finance is going to be a bit of a stretch financially!). I was wondering if anyone has one we could come and look at and perhaps even try out? We'd be very grateful

    I don't know if they still have it, but the Bike station had an ex-demo one for sale last month that I'm sure they'd let you try. Worth giving them a bell.

    depends on your kids ages, but we've never had any trouble getting our helios on trains. (first time we tried, we had a guard make us take off the front wheel, but never after that).

    we're taking it to london next month, and borrowing another down there, for use with our 12 & 8yo.

    @lesleysprite

    Circe Helios worth looking at. Quite compact and can do many roles.
    E-assist available if you really need. @SRD used here with back up child power and one child seat. With cargo rack it can be formatted in many ways.
    Happy to arrange a half day trial of you are interested. Pm me at Laid Back Bikes or forum here.
    @Harts have Tern of course to compare.
